if条件虚拟语气的省略与倒装疑问

这题正确选项是A，书中【分析】中提到 C 不符合省略 if 的虚拟语气的语法表达，在不考虑上下句意思是不是符合，It should not be for the••••••省略后真的不是 Should it not befor the•••如此吗? 请老师们指教。

 

if it were not for... 和 if it had not been for...，是两个约定俗成的表达虚拟条件的格式句。其中 it 是虚指，作虚拟主语， for 引出名词或代词。都要用否定句，不可以用一定句。意为 “若不是...的话”。前者表示与目前状况不符的虚拟，后者表示与过去状况不符的虚拟。
没  if it should not be for ... 的说法。所以答案C也就自然没有了。
至于去掉 if 后倒装，那是符合倒装的条件。另当别论。
